Driving Directions

Conveniently located at Santa Barbara Harbor – Marina 2, Slip B2

 

From the South

 

Take the 101 to Santa Barbara. Take the Garden Street Exit. Head to the ocean [not towards the mountains] on Garden Street. Turn right onto Cabrillo Boulevard at the beach. Continue on Cabrillo until you pass Los Banos Pool on the left. Turn left into the harbor. The first left in the Harbor will take you into the parking lot. Enter the parking lot, go in and take a ticket at the kiosk. Find a parking space. The first building on the right is the rest room for Marina II. There is a gate down to the Marina II docks. Wait at the gate (it is usually locked).  We will escort you through the gate. Finaddict is in slip B-2. It will be at the bottom of the ramp on the left.

From the North

 

Take the 101 to Santa Barbara. Take the Castillo Street Exit. Head to the ocean [not towards the mountains] on Castillo Street. Turn right onto Cabrillo Boulevard at the beach. Turn left into the harbor. The first left in the Harbor will take you into the parking lot. Enter the parking lot, go in and take a ticket at the kiosk. Find a parking space. The first building on the right is the restroom for Marina II. There is a gate down to the Marina II docks. Wait at the gate (it is usually locked).  We will escort you through the gate. Finaddict is in slip B-2. It will be at the bottom of the ramp on the left.

Fishing

  • A fishing license is required for any trip where fish or game are taken. Anyone over the age of 16 must have a valid fishing license.

 

​

  • We supply fishing tackle and gear if you do not bring your own.

​

  • We will clean/fillet your fish to take home.

​

  • We always keep your fish on ice.

​

SCUBA, Free Diving & Snorkling

  • For your safety, SCUBA diving charters must have a qualified dive master present.  All divers must be currently certified or be under the control of a certified SCUBA instructor.

​

  • As with any charter that involves our passengers to be off the boat during a charter, each passenger must fill out a waiver releasing Santa Barbara Sea Charters of any liability, when not physically on the boat.

 

  • A fishing license is required for any trip where fish or game are taken.  Anyone over the age of 16 must have a valid fishing license.  The licenses may be obtained from the California Department of Fish & Game at: http://www.dfg.ca.gov/licensing/ols/ or they may be purchased at the Sea Landing.

 

     

Items You May Want To Bring On a Trip

  • Sunglasses / Hats

  • Sweatshirt / Jacket

  • Camera / Video camera

  • Boat friendly shoes or boots (No black sole shoes or high heels please)

  • Sunscreen lotion

  • Sea sickness medicine

  • Food and drinks

Footwear

The most common injuries on boats come from passengers slipping and falling on a wet deck.  We want your trip to be safe and comfortable.

  • High heels, mid heels or leather soles not recommended.

 

  • ​Rubber soled footwear strongly recommended. â€‹

Pricing

  • Pricing varies depending on seasons, trip lengths and other factors. Please call or email us for pricing information and reservations.

  • 50% deposit required when booking.

​

  • Charter prices do not include food, license or gratuities.

Food & Beverage

  • We offer coffee, a selection of soft drinks and filtered water.  We do not provide or sell alcoholic beverages, but you are welcome to bring anything you wish to drink. 

​

  • There is ample space for refrigerated items.  Generally, ice chests are not allowed on Finaddict for safety reasons. 

​

  • Food & Catering services can be arranged.

Seasickness

Safety

  • All crew members participate in a random drug screening program and have been trained in the use and mechanics of Finaddict. 

​

  • The Coast Guard has a zero tolerance for drugs and firearms on charter boats.  Santa Barbara Sea Charters strictly enforces Coast Guard policies.

​

  • As with any charter that involves our passengers to step off the boat during a charter, passengers must fill out a waiver releasing Santa Barbara Sea Charters of any liability, when not physically on the boat.
